Wordfence protects over 4 million websites in over 190 countries and territories on over 12,000 unique networks. Wordfence know who is attacking those websites in real time and the kinds of attacks they’re using.

Each attack on one of their customer websites is reported to them as it happens, at a rate of over 700 attack reports per second, or about 1.8 billion attack reports per month.

Wordfence knows which IP addresses are attacking web services and what they’re doing and that list changes hourly. Wordfence call this their IP Threat Feed.

The IP Threat Feed from Wordfence Intelligence gives you a constantly updated feed of malicious IP addresses based on the attacks that they are seeing across over 4 million sites that they protect.

If they’ve targeted their customers, it’s likely they’ll target you & you can block them at the edge of your network, block them at the end point, or monitor their activity.

The IP Threat Feed from Wordfence Intelligence includes IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Each IP comes with network metadata and attack metadata, so you know who the IP belongs to and what malicious activity they have observed.

Wordfence’s IP Threat Feed is updated every 60 minutes. After 30 days of no malicious activity from an IP address, they update our data. That helps you reduce false positives by allowing the good IPs through and blocking active threats.

The IP Threat Feed also includes data on all IP addresses that have been malicious in the past 30 days, which allows you to use the list for deep forensic analysis, going back as far as 30 days in your log files.

Wordfence blocks and logs various common attacks, like XSS and SQLi, along with major vulnerabilities like the Log4j vulnerability, which means you can use their IP Threat Feed to protect any network providing web services.

What Is Wordfence Intelligence?
